“In the fight against spam, sometimes valid emails are caught by the spam filter.”
How often should I check my spam filter?
CNM recommends that you check your spam filter daily. Oftentimes, a valid email can be quarantined which is a possibility on all spam filters. This is referred to as a “false positive”. By releasing a valid email from the spam filter, it allows for training the spam filter and retrieval of timely email.
Email Blacklists
Email senders occasionally discover that they are entered onto blacklists due to spam activity being detected on their system. As a result, a recipient’s spam filter may quarantine the email until the underlying cause for the blacklist entry is removed.
Below you will find the instructions needed to check your quarantined mail items. If more specific information is required or if you are interested in signing up for our spam filtering service please contact us by email or phone 985.580.3040.
